  Several photo correction adjustments such as contrast and overall levels are automated, but also you can interactively make many adjustments including backlight and flash, color, contrast all from the “Enhance Menu” with the results being shown immediately in the photo or graphic. There is a red eye brush for fixing the eyeballs including those of animals.
  
  The program is digital camera and web aware such that you can download directly from cameras that support the WIA protocol and you can save pictures optimized for the web in several web formats including animated gifs. Exports to the web can be previewed so as to get the intended results.
  
  You can also build panoramic photos using Element’s PhotoMerge function that automatically imports a directory of files, figures out which ones belong together, adjust the perspectives, and snaps them all together in a Panorama.
